Staking and the harvest
sKRONOS rebases every 8 hours from the premium the market pays over backing.
The rebase rate
rate = 0.12% × clamp((P − 1) ÷ (K − 1), 0, 1)
- Epochs roll every 8 hours: 00:00, 08:00 and 16:00 UTC.
- The mint is capped by the treasury's excess over risk-free value, and halts while a reserve cannot be valued.
- The rebase is emission, not income: it dilutes holders who do not stake. Real income is the USDG dividend.
Wrapping
wsKRONOS = sKRONOS ÷ index. The index only grows, so a wsKRONOS balance is constant while each token is worth more sKRONOS over time. Use wsKRONOS wherever a rebasing balance would break things: collateral, bridges, pools.
